Game Scope and Mechanics
Ferry Locks is a browser-based demo where players select an exit lock from one to four before starting. Each lock has independent survival chances of 80%, 75%, two-thirds, and 50%. Reaching your chosen exit yields a gross return of 1.2x, 1.6x, 2.4x, or 4.8x, while failure returns zero. Stakes are set at 10, 25, 50, or 100 virtual coins, with 25 as the default. The demo requires no account or sign-in for access.
Wallet and Settlement Rules
A whole stake is deducted once at the start and persisted before animation. Gross returns include the stake, and payouts are computed in hundredths. Fractional carry is saved separately, while only whole coins are credited. Manual refill is available only when idle and balance is below 10, setting the balance to 1000. Reload discards unfinished rounds without refund or resume.
Controls and Limitations
Automatic settlement occurs at the chosen exit or end of reveal, with no manual stop or autoplay. Controls for stake, start, and mode are disabled while active. The demo uses virtual coins with no cash value, deposit, or withdrawal. No enforced age gate exists, though the intended audience is 18+. Storage includes localStorage for wallet data and a pending-round flag.
